A company where quality of life counts. A lot.

From your first day at Shawmut you’re given real opportunity—in the field or in the office—and you’ll be charged with acting and thinking like an owner. When you do that, the clients will feel it. They’ll want you back time and time again. And your career will take you in surprising and rewarding directions.

Les Hiscoe, Chief Executive Officer

Shawmut Design and Construction will not accept unsolicited resumes from any source other than directly from a candidate. Any unsolicited resumes/profiles sent to Shawmut, including unsolicited resumes/profiles sent directly to Shawmut employees or to Shawmut’s resume database, will be considered Shawmut property. Shawmut will not pay a fee for any placement resulting from the receipt of an unsolicited resume. Shawmut will consider any information about a candidate for whom an Agency has submitted an unsolicited resume/profile to have been referred by the Agency free of any charges or fees.

An Agency must obtain advance written approval from Shawmut’s Talent Acquisition function to submit resumes/profiles, and then only in conjunction with a valid, fully-executed contract for service and in response to a specific job opening. Shawmut will not pay a fee to any Agency that does not have such agreement in place.

  • 100% employee-owned, which means employees get to reap the financial benefits of being a part owner through the Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).

  • We pay it forward. We’re a big company but with a strong sense of community. We volunteer and work for dozens of organizations across the country. We even give employees a day off to volunteer wherever they want.

  • We make time for downtime. From cookouts to company parties to group outings, we're a team and we love spending time with each other.

With our philanthropic commitments and our standard of excellence in our everyday work, Shawmut is a very rewarding experience—one that I am proud to be a part of. Jacob Pray, Project Manager
