Shawmut is committed to building and sustaining a diverse workforce, and we have an active, company-wide diversity initiative to drive this process. We define diversity as valuing and leveraging differences among people. We believe a wide range of perspectives produces a more creative environment and facilitates better decision-making. In addition, our clients and business partners are increasingly diverse and we must understand and address their needs. Our goal is to have all members of Shawmut recognize, understand, appreciate, and use the diversity of our company to drive our success and the success of our clients and business partners.
