Boston — Jan. 3, 2007 — Shawmut Design and Construction recently announced the promotion of John Fuccione to Director of Project Services. Fuccione, a nine-year veteran of Shawmut, previously served as Operations Manager for the Project Services Division.
As Director of Project Services, Fuccione will leverage his more than 20 years of construction industry experience to lead quality control efforts, special projects, and internal and external operations training. Much of his time will be spent working closely with clients, Shawmut staff, and subcontractors to support key Shawmut strengths including precise schedule control and job performance predictability.
Shawmut’s Project Services Division is responsible for delivering outstanding client service to both internal and external clients through quality control and special project work. This group monitors the progress of projects to ensure that Shawmut delivers on all of its aggressive scheduling commitments without compromising the quality of the end product. The group also provides the project team and client with extensive review and oversight of punch list and warranty issues – delivering world class client service and an attention to detail that helps drive Shawmut’s culture and values.
Going forward, John will be building resources and improving systems and technology to assist project teams nationally.
As further testament to his commitment to client service, Fuccione was recently awarded Shawmut’s 2006 Client Service Award for Construction Operations. This award recognizes the great strides Shawmut employees take to bring the company’s commitment to client service to its fullest realization, acknowledging individuals whose work and dedication have stood out throughout the year.
