Boston and New York, March 30, 2007 – Shawmut Design and Construction announced today the beginning of construction for Apple’s latest flagship store, located on Boylston Street in Boston’s historic Back Bay neighborhood. Shawmut has built more than 75 Apple locations.

As the builders of Apple’s New York City flagship on 5th Avenue at 59th Street, Shawmut was the natural choice to manage such a high profile retail project.
