Boston, MA– Shawmut Design and Construction has named William Pisani as Vice President of the Company's Retail & Gaming Group. Located in New York, William will spearhead the Company's $150 million national retail and gaming market. "Bill has been instrumental in growing our retail and gaming group," said William Hughes, President. "As part of our national retail and gaming team for the last ten years, his experience will help us not skip a beat, ensuring clients a seamless transition." In his new role, Bill will work to expand Shawmut's retail projects which include such clients as: Apple Inc., Dior, Louis Vuitton, Tom Ford, Chanel, Ermenegildo Zegna, Burberry, Gucci, Longchamp, Chopard, De Beers, Tiffany & Co., NIKETOWN, Puma, and CityCenter Las Vegas." We've built projects for more than 200 of the top retail luxury and specialty brands over the last two years," said Bill Pisani. "My goal in 2011 is to increase that number over the previous year. Looking at our backlog, we're already well along to hitting our projections." Based out of the Company's retail headquarters in New York, Bill was previously Managing Director for Luxury and Specialty Clients. He has been a member of the construction industry for more than twenty-three years, and has been with Shawmut Design and Construction since 2000. His roles over the last decade at Shawmut have included Project Manager, Project Executive, Director of Construction Operations, Managing Director, and Vice President. Through these roles he has developed exceptional client relations skills which have been instrumental in the development and success of Shawmut's New York office. He also brings his skills in operations, employee relations, and fiscal responsibility and accountability to his position. William holds a degree in chemical engineering from the University of Rhode Island and holds an active PE in environmental engineering. |
