Noteworthy: Shawmut completed the fast-track construction of this luxury home in a secluded area of Essex, MA. The owner wanted a home that captured a natural look with an extensive landscaping package. The home features a living room with an oversized hearth, large open area with custom millwork and extensive glass, and a state-of-the-art A/V system wired throughout. The kitchen included high-end finishes, imported tile, luxury appliances, and specialty cabinets. Shawmut also built an office/guesthouse with private entrance attached to the front of the house, and a separate two-story barn to be used as storage for the owners’ cars and to house a 35-foot climbing wall, work shop, and large children’s playroom.
