BOSTON, MA – For the second year in row, Shawmut donated 1,200 toys worth $26,000 to children in need across the country through the Project Happier Holidays initiative.

This year, Shawmut created an online campaign called ‘Welcome to Shawmutville,’ in which clients and partners were invited to search through ‘Shawmutville’ to find the Shawmut gift box, which was filled with toys from the children’s wish lists. The toys were then purchased as a donation to a worthy non-profit in each of Shawmut’s local communities.

This holiday season, Shawmut donated gifts to The Home for Little Wanderers in Boston, Coalition for the Homeless in New York City, Hollygrove in Los Angeles, His House Children’s Home in Miami, Olive Crest in Las Vegas, Louie’s Place in Providence, and ‘r kids Family Center in New Haven.
