Shawmut donated 1,300 toys worth $26,000 to children in need across the country through its Project Happier Holidays email campaign.

Starting in November, Shawmut sent out an interactive holiday card to its clients and partners. Recipients were asked to choose one of seven themed gifts as a donation to a non-profit in their community.  Each selected toy was then purchased by Shawmut and donated to that organization.

Shawmut chose a local group from each of its eight offices nationwide: The Home for Little Wanderers in Boston, Coalition for the Homeless in New York City, EMQ FamiliesFirst in Los Angeles, His House Children’s Home in Miami, Olive Crest in Las Vegas, Louie’s Place in Providence, Horizons for Homeless Children in West Springfield, and ‘r kids Family Center in New Haven.
