Shawmut participated in the 2026 Pan-Mass Challenge (PMC), marking the 19th consecutive year in the event. Through nearly two decades of participation, the team has raised more than $2.3 million for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, helping fund lifesaving cancer research and patient care.
Team Shawmut—which includes CEO Les Hiscoe and Shawmut employee-owners, family members, and friends—rode alongside 6,500 participants in the two-day bike-a-thon Aug. 1-2 to raise funds for cancer research and patient care. Team Shawmut completed routes ranging from 25 to 177 miles across Massachusetts, while virtual participants joined from across the country.
“For nearly two decades, Team Shawmut has proudly supported the Pan-Mass Challenge. Seeing thousands of riders, volunteers, patients, survivors, and supporters come together is incredibly inspiring. I’m grateful for our employee-owners, families, friends, and partners whose commitment year after year has helped raise critical funds for lifesaving cancer research and patient care,” said Shawmut CEO Les Hiscoe, who rode in his 15th event.
Shawmut was also proud to sponsor the official 2026 PMC socks, featuring the company’s logo, which were distributed to each of the 6,500 participating riders. The team’s efforts wouldn’t be possible without all the Team Shawmut jersey sponsors. Thank you to Alliant, Angelini Plastering, Chelsea, Citizens, Fames W. Fleet Co.
