Noteworthy: A 16-suite, ultra high-end boutique hotel on Malibu’s Carbon Beach. Shawmut performed demolition, excavation, foundation and pile repairs, and installed a wastewater treatment facility. The hotel features naturally stained teak, ipe wood and floor to ceiling glass windows and doors. Of the 16 guest suites, no two are the same, some with courtyards and balconies.
