This project introduced a new two-story, glass-enclosed bridge connecting the addition to the existing building, housing advanced mechanical systems, a three-story Adventure Center, and updated exhibit spaces. Interior renovations included office relocations, a new lobby, and leasable tenant space. The project achieved LEED® Gold through the use of recycled materials, a stormwater reclamation system, and a green roof, making it Boston’s first green museum.
