Glorya Kaufman Community Center

Constructed over two stories of an occupied building, the space features individual offices, communal areas, a flexible event space, an open café, and numerous conference rooms. Occasionally working during off-hours in order to avoid disrupting neighbors in the operational building, the team constructed a custom oak and steel staircase that connected the first level communal spaces and the second level offices and conference rooms. Seismic bracing was also installed. The fast-track project was completed on time.
