NEW YORK, NY – Rebuilding Together NYC recently hosted their 5th Annual Golf Tournament at Brynwood Golf and Country Club in Armonk, NY to support in-need New York City homeowners.
Shawmut CEO Les Hiscoe, an active board member of the organization, helped kick off the event by welcoming guests and speaking to the important role Rebuilding Together NYC plays in the community.
Out on the course, Les was joined by members of Shawmut’s New York City office, along with over 90 other participants who showed off their swings to benefit the organization’s goal for safe and healthy housing for all—raising a record $48,000—for the New York nonprofit.
Rebuilding Together NYC was founded in 1999 with the sole vision of improving the homes and lives of low-income homeowners in the New York City area. With the continuous help of corporate sponsors and civic-minded volunteers such as Shawmut, Rebuilding Together NYC is able to perform repairs and modifications for homeowners at no cost.
