Earlier this month, Shawmut initiated the second round of mentoring pairs as part of Shawmut Connect. Launching in 2019 as part of Shawmut’s ongoing journey toward diversity, equity, and inclusion, Shawmut Connect is a one-on-one mentoring program that’s powered by a sophisticated algorithm that eliminates unconscious bias during the matching process, scientifically using skillset, experience, and goals to make the best matches. The relationship is anchored by a connection plan and continues as a completely guided experience on cloud-based software.
