Noteworthy: The Dr. Daniel M. Asquino Science Center is a brand new, state-of-the-art facility. It includes eight classrooms and laboratories, five lab prep rooms, a laser physics analysis lab, 24 faculty offices, and student study space, with enhanced A/V equipment throughout. Renovations to the Haley Academic Center includes a new visitor entrance, a multipurpose room, an academic advising suite, refurbished student-centered campus commons, a new 2,300 square foot greenhouse, and a 36,974 gross square foot renovation creating a 150-seat event space. Also the relocation of student advising services and offices, bathroom upgrades, M/E/P upgrades, and ADA improvements. This project is the first carbon-neutral campus in Massachusetts. It's entirely heated by biomass and powered by wind. Other sustainable features are exterior solar shades, tripled glazed windows and curtainwall, active chilled beams, and locally-manufactured recycled concrete block.
