Our favorite project to build.
Lots of companies make contributions to organizations and charities. And we do too.
But we also get involved with them. We donate tens of thousands of hours across all of our offices—actively working with 21 groups across the country. In fact, each member of our leadership team donates time and resources to a local organization—like Kevin Sullivan who, in partnership with the Room to Dream Foundation, recently helped transform a living room into a modern, warm, accessible bedroom for a critically ill child.
Over 60 volunteers from our Boston office contributed 300 hours of their time to prepare and deliver meals to the critically ill and their families.
Sore muscles, rain, and a case of hypothermia were all part of this year’s race, but nothing could stop 15 Shawmut riders and 13 volunteers from raising $125,971 and awareness for the fight against cancer.
REBUILDING TOGETHER NYC
Shawmut volunteers help with the continuous efforts to rebuild NYC neighborhoods affected by Hurricane Sandy.
Along with facilitating resume workshops and offering career coaching to students enrolled in Summer Search, Shawmut hosted four college interns this past summer in our Boston and New York offices.
WOUNDED WARRIOR PROJECT
In just one night, members of our CMST Program raised over $2,000 for wounded veterans and their families by organizing a skee-ball event at The Greatest Bar in Boston.
Shawmut has worked with 60 young people across various levels of YouthBuild Boston’s vocational training program—that’s 60 well-trained, highly motivated future A/E/C professionals.
