Noteworthy: This luxury two-story penthouse features custom finishes and pristine materials throughout. The scope of work included roof replacement, structural reinforcement, new interior and exterior staircases, two interior fireplaces, custom lighting systems, and installation of a 4’ x 12’ walk-on structural skylight illuminating the first floor. Finishes include Belgium black marble flooring, Caithness stone flooring from Scotland, Boffi kitchen cabinets from Italy, and a kitchen island manufactured in France. In addition, there are custom closets with built-ins throughout, a custom millwork library, Bliss NorAm custom metal architectural windows, and hand-finished wide-planked hickory flooring. Custom exterior finishes include a tempered laminated glass railing, green roof system, stone pavers, millwork screen walls and planters, and a custom BBQ area with exterior fireplace, creating a peaceful retreat from the busy city below. The entire project necessitated extensive coordination with the New York City Department of Buildings, Department of Transportation and Landmarks.
